Calgary’s Top 100 PowHERful Women of Impact
We are pleased to announce PowHERtalks Calgary on October 2nd. Speaker applications are being accepted until August 20th. We are also excited to announce the launch of our contest, Calgary’s Top 100 PowHERful Women of Impact and we welcome your nominations.
PowHERtalks 
is coming to Calgary. With four events under our belt in Nanaimo, Sechelt, Vancouver & Victoria to date, we’re preparing for PowHERtalks Calgary on Sunday, October 2nd with a uniquely empowering, all-female lifestyle + leadership presentation series designed specifically to help committed, passionate women move their missions forward. PowHERtalks is a platform that encourages women to clearly and specifically ASK for what they need to make the IMPACT they crave to make. PowHERful women from the each community – leaders in sport, business, the arts & community leadership – participate as invited audience members, and speakers apply to speak or receive an extended invitation.
Directly focused on measured social impact and taking action to build stronger women, families and communities, both locally and globally, PowHERhouse is setting out to redefine women’s media in Canada and the positive impact it can make.
“In 2009 the Dalai Lama delivered a speech during the 2009 Peace Summit in which he said ‘The world will be saved by the western woman’. I believe this to be true. PowHERhouse is a social impact organization dedicated to this goal. We celebrate Canadian women making an impact in sport, business, the arts and community leadership and provide solutions to keep them strong,” said PowHERhouse founder Charlene SanJenko, a successful entrepreneur and Town Councillor for Gibsons, BC. “We believe women learn from other women and are inspired to take action by experiencing positive role models who are making a difference. PowHERtalks provides an opportunity for a woman to publicly declare and commit to the impact she is ready to make and ask for what she needs to move her mission forward.”
At this time, we are looking to build our invitation list for our Calgary event, and what better way to do just that than by 
announcing a contest to acknowledge and celebrate Calgary’s Top 100 PowHERful Women of Impact.
Contest Details
Submit your entry introducing us to the most PowHERful women of impact in your network. She will receive a personal invitation to PowHERtalks on October 2nd as your referral as well as a chance to win an incredible prize pack.
- Each contest entry has room to list up to three entries;
- Each woman entered will receive a personal invitation to PowHERtalks along with a promo code for discounted tickets;
- One winner will receive the PowHERtalks ultimate prize pack;
- If your nominee is chosen, you will also receive two (2) complimentary tickets to PowHERtalks as well as two (2) tickets to our PowHERtalks VIP Party on Saturday, October 1st; and,
